Every unsaid truth

is a lie ,next day

I say the truth

To make it true

I write to make it

more true

But it becomes a past

Every poem

Is alive

While I am writing it

It will be dead when you read

So it will be a lie

I am the only

Living truth

Don’t ask my poems

For the truth

Ask me.

    • Thank you for the insight.
Some truths appear different in future. As you rightly put it, they may not be dead , yet completely metamorphose . So the truth should be asked from the living person , or so I felt when I wrote this poem.

    • I agree. When truths are not validated by another human being….it causes a dead weight on your soul. Writing was to seek validation initially. Now I celebrate the truth , thank you for being my validation….by your response.
